Apple have their own MDM, Apple Profile Manager that is part of macOS server
Profile Manager is generally a great way of testing certain features on iOS devices or comparing Apple MDM functionality vs other vendors (sometimes useful when troubleshooting issues).
Generally advice from Apple is that Profile Manager should only be used for testing/POCs and not used in production.
