Recently Citrix has announced discovered changes in Apple APIs
Dear Valued Citrix Endpoint Management and Citrix Workspace Customer,
On June 3rd, 2019 at WWDC, Apple announced (Apple Music User Guide for Mac - Apple Support) that it will gradually retire the iTunes brand. As part of the transition, Apple switched its URL structure for hosting app listings on the web from itunes.apple.com to apps.apple.com.
The switch impacts Volume Purchase Program (VPP) service and iOS Public Appstore app upload on Citrix Endpoint Management (CEM).
The functionality impacted are:
- Not able to import Apple VPP applications in CEM. – Citrix is actively working on this issue and will release a fix soon. For more information on the issue, please visit the following Knowledge Base article: https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX256701
- iOS Public Appstore app upload. This is an issue on Apple’s API. Citrix has already contacted Apple about this issue.
