Android - setting default calendar


We’re looking at providing corporate Android devices. With iOS, you can select which is your default calendar (corporate or personal) but I can’t seem to locate this setting in Android.

I know when you create a new meeting, you can pick which calendar it goes to but 99% of the time, our users aren’t going to notice this so I wanted to know if there was something like the default setting in iOS.


Consider looking into Android Enterprise Work Profile, if the user only has a corporate account setup then there should only be one option. (this will need testing)

Depending on the Calendar app you may have AppConfig options (only available via Android Enterprise) that would allow you to apply in app config.

Also look into VMWare Boxer as a possible solution.
